It’s part of La Pérdida del Verano, a collection inspired by a surreal dream where mourners attend a bright, Latin-infused funeral—one where the casket holds not a person, but a torn dress. Each garment in the collection carries its own narrative from that dream.
In Zénit’s story, she arrived late to the funeral, as always. Instead of flowers, she brought a white jacket under her arm—not for herself, but to lay inside the coffin. She said it was the only thing that made her feel protected during a collapsing summer. When everyone cried, she folded the jacket and placed it gently over the broken dress. It was her way of saying goodbye to the heat, the chaos, the things she never dared to say.
