The "Albor" Top

The "Albor" Top

€180,00

The “Albor” detachable linen top forms part of La Pérdida del Verano, a collection inspired by a surreal dream in which people attend a Latin-style funeral—colorful, glowing, almost celebratory—where the object of mourning is a destroyed dress, not a person. Each garment carries a unique story from that imagined ritual.

In Albor’s tale, someone had pinned a letter to the inside of the casket. It was written on linen—stitched, not printed—and signed only with an initial. The note read: “She wore this shirt when she stopped waiting for someone else to change her life.” The detachable sleeves still smelled of summer storms, and no one dared to touch them. Some cried. Others nodded in silence. The shirt was left inside, sleeves folded across the chest, like armor and surrender at once.

Fit: Slightly loose fit with an asymmetrical cut. Features a hidden button system that allows the sleeves to be fully detached or partially worn. Genderless and versatile—designed to morph with mood, movement, and temperature.

Styling tips: Wear it as a full-sleeve shirt, off-the-shoulder top, or short-sleeve layer depending on the season. Pair it with the wide-leg “Bruma” trousers, or layer it over a dress as a modern overshirt. A go-to piece for building looks that feel intentional and personal.
