“Estío” belongs to La Pérdida del Verano, a collection by Barcelona-based label RUELAS. Inspired by a surreal, Latin-bright funeral, the story unfolds not around a person, but a torn dress - a quiet satire of our deep attachment to the objects we wear.

In Estío’s vignette, she stood near the open door as the breeze shifted, the magnetic closures clicking gently like a metronome. With every subtle movement, the dress reshaped itself - sometimes tighter, sometimes looser - as if resisting a fixed identity.

When the sun dipped and the air cooled, she drew one last fold across her waist. “For the evening,” she said, and the room exhaled. No one asked what she was letting go of, or what she chose to keep.
